Trusted worldwide, Harvia is a name synonymous with Finnish craftsmanship and long-lasting performance—bringing the gold standard of sauna heating into your home.
Timeless Design
The Bayther Barrel Sauna blends timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary edge. Its sleek, minimalist silhouette, paired with a black shingled roof and 8mm clear tempered glass door, creates a striking focal point for any outdoor setting.
Premium materials
Our saunas are crafted from continuous lengths of thermally treated Finnish Spruce, prized in Nordic regions for its durability and light aroma (perfect for people with respiratory issues, which cedar can cause). Thermal treatment not only enhances the wood’s natural beauty but also makes it 25% more thermally efficient than cedar, ensuring superior heat retention and a more consistent sauna experience.
Unlike lower-cost alternatives that rely on splicing and glueing—methods that can compromise structural integrity and release unwanted toxins—we use solid, unbroken lengths of timber for unmatched strength and purity.
To withstand the elements, each sauna is finished with bitumen roof shingles, aluminium hinges, and stainless steel fixings, offering long-term durability and peace of mind. The thermal treatment process also means our timber can be imported into New Zealand without toxic fumigation, keeping your sauna experience as natural and clean as possible.
