FAQs
Everything you need to know before purchasing and installing your sauna.
Choosing The Right Sauna
What's the difference between a Barrel Sauna and an Infrared Sauna?
Barrel Sauna
- Traditional Finnish sauna experience with stones, steam and traditional sauna timber
- Reaches temperatures of 70–100°C
- Water can be poured over stones to create steam
- Electric and woodfire options
- Typically installed outdoors
- Full benefits of traditional sauna
- Hot, intense and immersive.
Infrared Sauna
- Operates at lower temperatures of 45–60°C
- Uses nano carbon infrared heaters
- Typically installed indoors.
- Lower air temperature, for longer sessions
- Heats the body more directly
- Gentler warmth. Slower build. Less intense heat.
- Has modern features: Bluetooth speakers, Wifi compatibility, mobile temperature control
How many people fit comfortably?
- Barrel Sauna (2-4 person): Comfortable for 2-3 adults.
- Barrel Sauna (6-8 Person): Comfortable for 5-6 adults.
- Infrared Sauna: Comfortable for 2 adults.
We recommend choosing based on your regular use, not maximum capacity.
