Step 1: Choose Your Sauna

Choose between barrel and infrared saunas, different sizes and heating options depending on your space and how you plan to use it.

Step 2: Plan Your Space

For barrel saunas

Barrel saunas are designed for outdoor or indoor use and require planning for site, power and access.

• Site: A flat, level surface is essential. Suitable options include a concrete pad, deck, pavers or compacted gravel.
• Power: 32 amp connection required. A licensed electrician will need to be arranged.
• Access: Delivery is to the front of your property. Ensure there is space for crate unloading and clear access to the final installation position.

For infrared saunas

Infrared saunas are designed for indoor use and require minimal preparation.

• Site: Flat indoor floor surface.
• Power: 15A non-standard plug required. Installation by a licensed electrician.
• Access: Delivered in boxed panels. Ensure clear access through doorways and hallways to the installation room.

Step 3: Pick Up or Delivery

Once your sauna is ready, you can either collect it from our Auckland warehouse or choose nationwide delivery.

• Auckland pickup: Free
• Flat rate nationwide delivery: $450 (added at checkout)
  

All deliveries are to the front of your property unless otherwise arranged. Please ensure there is adequate space for unloading. If your property has restricted access (steep driveway, narrow entry or tight corners), contact us prior to purchase so we can confirm suitability.

Your sauna will arrive flat-packed in a protective crate. From the delivery point, it will need to be moved to its final installation position by you or your installer.

Step 4: Installation

Bayther installation options

We offer Bayther installation options within the Auckland region.

Bayther installations are completed by qualified builders familiar with the product and setup requirements.

DYI installation for barrel saunas

Barrel saunas require structured on-site assembly and advance planning around site and power.

• Suitable for competent DIY installation or installation by your builder.
• We can assist with local builder/installer recommendations if required.
• Step-by-step assembly instructions included.
• Electrical connection must be completed by a licensed electrician (32 amp required)
• The installation surface must be flat and level prior to assembly

DYI installation for infrared saunas

Our infrared saunas require easy, straightforward assembly.

• Delivered in pre-assembled wall panels that lock together.
• Step-by-step assembly instructions included.
• Electrical connection must be completed by a licensed electrician (15A required)
