Bayther was founded by Tim, a builder who has worked in the New Zealand construction industry since 2013.
After experiencing the benefits of sauna himself - particularly for stiffness, arthritis and general wellbeing - Tim became interested in how to bring that experience home.
With a builder’s mindset, he began researching sauna types, construction and materials, eventually building his own DIY sauna kit.
That project became the starting point for Bayther.
